Ernst Fuchs's surrealist "Fire Fox on a Hare Hunt" on a 635CSi.
Austrian fantastic-realist Ernst Fuchs painted a road-going 635CSi with a surreal vision he titled Fire Fox on a Hare Hunt, a leaping fox flanked by fire, water and desert imagery. It was the first Art Car based on a standard production model rather than a dedicated racer. Fuchs said the car should embody the fears and dreams of a driver.
