Esther Mahlangu's Ndebele geometric patterns on a 525i.

South African artist Esther Mahlangu was the first woman and first African artist to create a BMW Art Car, hand-painting a 525i with the bold geometric patterns of Ndebele mural art. She used the traditional freehand technique, painting without rulers or tape. The vivid design became one of the collection's most celebrated works.
