German neo-expressionist A. R. Penck covered a red Z1 roadster with the primal stick figures, symbols and hieroglyph-like signs that define his work. He described the markings as a systematic pictorial language. The bright red Z1 with its drop-down doors is one of the most graphic Art Cars.
