Frank Stella's graph-paper grid wrapped over a 3.0 CSL.
For the second Art Car, American minimalist Frank Stella covered a 3.0 CSL in a black-on-white grid resembling oversized graph paper. Stella described the design as a blueprint laid over the bodywork, an engineer's drawing made three-dimensional. Like Calder's car, it was conceived as a functioning race car.
