Dodge Deora

The Alexander Brothers' radical cab-forward custom pickup and Hot Wheels legend

The Deora was a heavily customized Dodge A100 pickup built by Detroit's Alexander Brothers, Mike and Larry, to a design by Harry Bentley Bradley. Entered through a front hatch made from a 1960 Ford wagon tailgate, with no side doors, it won nine awards including the Ridler at the 1967 Detroit Autorama. Its stock 170-ci Slant Six was relocated rearward. It became one of the original 1968 Hot Wheels 'Sweet Sixteen.'
