A surfer-themed minivan that previewed Stow 'n Go seating
The Kahuna appeared at Detroit in 2003 alongside the Dodge Avenger concept, reimagining the minivan for a surf-and-lifestyle crowd. A turbocharged 2.4 L four made about 215 hp through a four-speed automatic. Its frameless, fully retractable glass, roof-rail surfboard mounts and B-pillar-to-bumper opening roof were showpieces, while its folding three-row seating foreshadowed Chrysler's production Stow 'n Go system.
