Concept car · 2002 · Combustion

A rugged, back-to-basics compact pickup inspired by 1940s Dodge trucks
The M80 debuted at Detroit in 2002 as a small, affordable pickup concept evoking Dodge's late-1930s and 1940s trucks, aimed at young buyers. A 3.7 L Magnum V6 made 215 hp and 235 lb-ft through a five-speed manual. Chrysler studied production based on the Dakota, but the financials never worked and the project was killed in 2003.
