A Scandinavian shooting brake echoing the 1800 ES
The Concept Estate was the third in Volvo's trio of design concepts, a three-door sports wagon whose rear glass tailgate paid homage to the 1970s Volvo 1800 ES. Its interior debuted the large portrait tablet-style touchscreen that would define subsequent production Volvos, stripping away nearly all physical buttons in favor of a clean, luxurious Scandinavian cabin.
